WOBURN POCKET PARK

MassDevelopment has announced an opportunity for placemaking design in Woburn, MA - The city of Woburn would like to better utilize the pocket park space at 460 Main Street by implementing different design elements/strategies. The space is currently an abandoned trash pit and underused bus stop between two commercial businesses, but can be so much more with its proximity to the main square, its existing topographical features, as well as its prospective user groups. We see the space as having the potential to be an amazing pocket park, and have conducted a study to see what the community wants as well.
