WEBSTER LIBRARY

A new library will replace the existing library which the town has outgrown. Sited on the main public green in the village center of Webster, the new design engages both vehicular and pedestrian traffic, announcing this significant public institution. Paths through the public green connect to a new amphitheater stepped entry to the building while a small terrace collects and re-directs those approaching the building from the new parking. Site designs work with the existing tree canopy while introducing a rich ground plane that helps establish the building plinth on this sloping site.
